Fitness

Cobb Atlanta believes that in order to be great volleyball players, the girls must also be in good athletic shape. We also believe that workouts and fitness can be incorporated into their practices and workouts at home in their spare time.  We have teamed with Complex Fitness and Performance to make this happen.

In our coaching handbook, we will provide coaches with an outline of fitness we expect them to keep up with. Players will be tested every 3 times a season to measure their fitness improvement.

Players 13 & up will participate in 1 fitness session a week with the coaches from Complex.  There will be 2-3 sessions to choose from, but one will always be directly before or after practice.  All players will be asked to turn in a workout calendar each month.  Parents will be in charge of signing the calendar when the workout.  Players will be asked to work out twice a week. 

If any girls or parents are interested in extra training throughout the season, over the summer, pre season preparation next year, or any other time Ryan and Shannon would be more than happy to accommodate your needs at their gym located near the intersection of Cobb Parkway and Barrett Parkway.
