We have an opportunity to scrimmage TCA volleyball on March 30th.  This would be instead of having practice, but at the same time 5:30-7:30.

Location- Family Life Center.  West Paces and Peachtree Street. The actual address is 2715 Peachtree Road NE, Atlanta GA 30305.

 Hi Girls!

Here is the homework for tonight. It is due Thursday. Please send it to both me and Coach Jen.

1:  Why do you play volleyball?

2: What are the 3 things that you are told multiple times during practice by your coaches?

3: What can YOU do to practice better (while at practice)?

4:  What motivates you?

Please try to think about what you can do to help the team. We have another tournament coming up this weekend.  Let's get pumped up, ready to play and win some games!!

Though this past weekend may not have had the winning results the girls would have liked, Coach Chrissy and I saw many improvements.

Gabby was working hard transitioning off the net and moving on defense. Alex keeps getting better and better at jumping up for blocks and hits. Cristina aslo had some great hits and serves. Kennedy, Erin, and Madeline did a great job of consistantly serving in the court. Andrea and Lindy had some great tips resulting in points and are really starting to move their feet. Molly and Analise were thrown in for some serve receive and they did awesome.

That being said, there are plenty of things to work on...

Although talking improved this tournament, it is not consistant and hard to hear. Also, movement is key. Many of us are still standing on the court watching the game instead of being a part of it. We will be working hard to anticipate the play instead of reacting!
