Hey Everybody! I'm so sorry I had to miss this weekend, this whole college thing is really getting in the way of the rest of my life :) Anyways, I'm very excited to hear how the girls did this past weekend and get back to work in the gym! We've seen some major improvements from tournament to tournament, especially with our offense getting faster, so let's keep on with it! See you guys Tuesday!

Hey Everyone,

We have 2 more practices before we head to Gulf Shores. Let's stay focused on our preparation for the next tournament.

Practice times update. This week our 2 practices are going to be at the normal times on Tuesday and Thursday.

Starting next week, we will be practicing at our normal 7:30 time at Mcclesky, but on Thursday we will be moving to Kell High School from 6-8.

Well we got our first tournament under our belt and the parents, players and coaches realized that we can play with most anyone. We are a very gritty, determined and scrappy team and that is what it takes to win volleyball games. Now we have a couple weeks to prepare for the tournament in Gulf Shores!

Our passing was fantastic and it was proof that hard work does pay off. We played several teams that had good hitters and we held our own by digging most of what they hit at our defense. We will continue to work on passing, because there is always room to improve!!  We are really going to focus on blocking and hitting and our rotation these next several practices. Toneeka and I will continue to tweek our rotation to get the most out of it.

Parents: All of the players and coaches really appreciate all of your support this weekend, trust me it makes the game a lot of fun when your crowd is loud and having fun!!! Although you did a great job cheering, we need you to be louder and maybe come up with a few songs!

Girls: Let's go back to work...see you Tuesday!

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to let everyone know that Toneeka, Olivia and I were pleased with the intensity of practice after the first 45 minutes were not very good!!!

Shauna had a great practice and really showed a lot of effort by hitting the floor and moving her feet. We have 3 more practices left before we get our first opportunity to put everything we have worked on to good use.

Parents feel free to come a little early to pick up your girls tonight, we will be scrimmaging one of the 15's teams the last 30 minutes of practice.
